Country Roads and a World Heritage Site

Over the weekend some enthusiastic volunteers from Trevor and Froncysyllte, South Wrexham joined Keep Wales Tidy and North Wales Police on an ambitious litter pick targeting the country roads that surround the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a World Heritage Site –15 bags of litter collected and removed together with some flytipped televisions! Great effort, many thanks!

Also don’t forget that Tidy Wales Week is fast approaching (17th -23rdSeptember) – The event offers a great opportunity to get to grips with any issues relating to litter in your community – Why not get together with your neighbours, family and friends and take part – Keep Wales Tidy can provide free cleanup kits (while stocks last!) just follow this link -
